I’d loved reading this piece. I feel like it’s so tough keeping my own pace when it feels like everything and everyone is pushing forwards.

I have to come back to my own journey and remind myself I have a clear picture of where i’m headed and i’m staying curious along the way. Trying to remain true to how MY energy really feels and honoring that.

I know that feeling so well Holly. There were a couple years where I could feel something on the horizon, but I just couldn't see what it was. I'd watch other people moving forward with angst. But I know now that if I had pushed it, I probably would have been pushing in the wrong direction, just to feel like I was moving. I like how Jessie described it 'aligned action'. Everyone's timing is a bit different, but perfect.

Thanks for sharing, Holly! It can be so challenging to stay focused on our own journey when the world around us is moving so fast. It's such an important practice to check back in with our own energy and honor where we're at. I think that's the secret to moving in aligned action and creating a sustainable path forward that fuels us instead of depletes us in the long term.

Loved reading this. A beautiful reminder to create ritual and pause, often. Resonated with the morning routine, creating space at the start of the day. For me it's the mornings as well. Meditation, reflection, and ease before the world asks anything of us.

Hi Lauren, totally. My mornings are a time to come home to myself and choose how I want to BE in this unfolding day. I love what you’re writing about, and look forward to hearing what you have to say about this time of life, the unbecoming and the becoming. Just subscribed!

I'm loving the fire horse energy. It feels like what I've been waiting for. But there are moments when the void calls within it. Like there are still pieces that need to reveal themselves to me before I can move forward. I need to be patient, although I tend to say it is a virtue I do not possess. :-) Nature, meditation, and physical exercise help.

I can relate to this, Jody! After a few years of being in that liminal in between space without a lot of outward movement, it feels really good to be in aligned action. And at the same time, I'm still finding new pieces that are revealing themselves, asking for attention so I can continue becoming who I'm meant to be in this next chapter. Thanks for reading!

Thank you for your words, as I'm sitting patiently over here in my dark cave of the unknown. It's nice to be reminded that I'm exactly where I should be. Even though it's so freaking uncomfortable. I'm working hard to resist the urge to DO more or to judge and criticize myself for slowing down.

Jonna, I want to second what Jody said: "Staying with it anyway, even when it feels like you should be doing more, is actually the work." You are showing up for yourself again and again. I see you and I'm here! 🫶

The discomfort of slowing down when everything in you wants to push forward is real. I know it well. Staying with it anyway, even when it feels like you should be doing more, is actually the work. You're exactly where this asks you to be.
