So much of this post is what I’m feeling in this stage of life. Truly, it was almost like reading my life at the moment, minus the mother part. Although I do have my own issues with her, I’m able to not allow it to dominate my life in a way. That’s part of living away from family, makes it easier to disconnect. Anyway, I’ve also recently started loving astrology again. And yes, I’ve started to notice the patterns more. One thing I’ve noticed, my sleep is terrible on full moons. Anyone else? Aaahh I’ve recently joined Substack and will talk about my perimenopause journey too, amongst other things. Would love to connect yes! Looking forward for more.

I usually don’t sleep very well on full moons either. SO fun to hear that you’re getting back into astrology and you’re noticing your patterns. This is such a powerful time of life for beginning to see what’s been driving us. Glad you’re on Substack and thanks for letting me know you’re interested in gathering. I look forward to getting to know you and reading your Substack!

I really loved the way you connected all of this back to coming home to yourself. The part about realizing how much energy had been tied up in trying to understand, fix, or earn something from a relationship really stood out to me.

There’s something powerful about finally deciding that your own truth can be enough, even when someone else sees the story differently. And I love that getting out of your head and back into your body helped you feel that energy returning.

That question about where we abandon ourselves just to keep the peace is such an important one. I think a lot of us could sit with that for a while. ❤️
